AirAsia X is pleased to announce that AAX AVIATION CAPITAL LTD., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has on 25th October 2018 incorporated AAX LEASING FOUR LTD. (“AL4”) (Company No.: LL15265), AAX LEASING FIVE LTD. (“AL5”) (Company No.: LL15266) and AAX LEASING SIX LTD. (“AL6”) (Company No.: LL15267) and on 26th October 2018 incorporated AAX LEASING SEVEN LTD. (“AL7”) (Company No.: LL115268), AAX LEASING EIGHT LTD. (“AL8”) (Company No.: LL15269), and AAX LEASING NINE LTD. (“AL9”) (Company No.: LL15270), all of which are private limited companies under the Labuan Companies Act 1990 to facilitate the leasing of aircraft. |

The issued share capital of AL4, AL5, AL6, AL7, AL8 and AL9 respectively, is USD100 comprising 1,000 ordinary shares of USD0.10 each and will be raised accordingly to cater for its operational needs. The Directors of the subsidiaries presently are Benyamin Ismail and Wong Mee Yen.
The incorporations of AL4, AL5, AL6, AL7, AL8 and AL9 are not expected to have any material effect on the issued and paid-up share capital or substantial shareholders’ shareholding, earnings per share, net assets per share and gearing of AirAsia X for the financial year ending 31 December 2018.
None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above incorporations.
The establishments of AL4, AL5, AL6, AL7, AL8 and AL9 are also not subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company and any other regulatory authorities in Malaysia.
